Don’t Like Your Job? Quit It.

Quit your job. Saying something so bold is taboo to many people, but you have to look at the facts. What do you have to lose by quitting your job? You’ll no longer have money coming in. Perhaps you have dependents. It would be a risk.

But hang on a minute – do you actually like your job? No? So that’s about half of your waking life down the tubes. Still think quitting your job isn’t a risk worth taking?

It’s all a matter of perspective. Of not being irrationally afraid of quitting your job, but objectively weighing up the likely outcomes and deciding whether or not it is a risk worth taking. And if it isn’t a risk worth taking, you simply need to figure out how you can get to a place where it is.
